Got Wordpress woes? The doctor is in! Many authors find themselves either stuck without a blog or limited by what they already know. Wordpress has become the standard with the largest community providing an infinite number of plug-ins, widgets, and custom themes. Local author, Brian Schwartz has been teaching Wordpress classes for the past year and has seen firsthand how much traffic a good writer can generate when they create a good site on wordpress. Furthermore, he has been involved in an internet mastermind group learning how to monetize sites and will share tips from others already supplementing their income with their websites!
Brian will be offering a ‘drop-in workshop’ every other Monday night at the NCW studio beginning July 13. Whether you have yet to get your site started, or have been running one for years, Brian will be on hand to assist you wherever you are stuck. The design of the workshop is intended to be hands on, so bring your laptop, and we’ll provide free wireless internet. There is a $20 ‘copay’ and the ‘visiting hours’ are 6-9pm and you are welcome to drop by anytime and stay as long as you need.
